There's tons of Aggies tired of his shite. I might go so far as to say 50%.
I work with a ton of Aggies in Houston. Additionally I actually went to school there after LSU, so I have a ton of friends.
JFF is a piece of shite and comes from a long line of trash. Deep down all Aggies know that but there isn't anything that they can do about it so just enjoy the ride and hope JFF doesn't do anything too bad to embarrass the University. He's brought the school plenty of good too.
Hopefully Sumlin can reign him in, but that's probably been said about 100 times since December.
Part of the reason the folks of the SEC are giving a&m so much shite is that before joining they have this holier than thou attitude and talk about their honor code. Lots of them have had to abandon that to defend Johnny. He's not some extreme douche or anything on the field. He was just doing normal stuff that mental midgits with no sense do. It wasn't anything that hasn't been seen before.

The thing about the Honor Code is that it IS so heavily regarded that you better damned well be certain of leveling it at someone. You can expel those guilty of violating it and you can get in deep shite yourself if you charge someone with breaking it and you have no grounds to stand upon.
