When you see the guy with the little Ceasars sign dancing and acting a fool on Darby DR., I just hope you think Roll Tide because I'm doing this for us.
Haha, I'll have to call up there and ask one of the guys what that means. I haven't been up there in a decade or so.

I remember how good he was. He played sparingly his freshman year. Physically, Jalen is stronger and faster than Tebow. They throw about the same.

Jackson was also a lot more jerky and frantic in shorter throws and routes.

Hurts arm strength is not an issue. It was timing and deep accuracy

By the way, that comment was not a knock on Hurts. It was just pointing out that Jackson has a fricking howitzer for a right arm.

He's not a pro prospect as a qb. Not sure if mean as a pro prospect at some other position.

Your own fans, like I said.

Yes but that's still far from most of the fans.

And how's this comment even making a definitive statement that "Hurts is guaranteed to be better"? He's just saying that it's possible Hurts might've improved which isn't at all the same thing as "Hurts fixed all his mistakes" like you claimed they say.

He is a 4 year player but Bama will likely replace him as the starter .

Hurts has about 65% of the pro potential that AJ McTatty has.

McTatty can't get on the field for the worst organization in the NFL.

Let that sink in.

I have the same % chance of playing in the NFL as Hurts.

0.0%.

He may win 3 natty's for saben and the bammers.

But NFL material?

no way. Just like his head coach, he is not talented enough to succeed at the next level.

So he began most mornings in high school by lifting weights with his father around 6 a.m. in Channelview's cramped weight room. Jalen often would lift again in the afternoon. And the results were staggering: At a powerlifting meet in the spring of 2015, he dead-lifted 585 pounds, squatted 570 and benched 275 more. Two springs ago during physical testing at Alabama, it should be noted, nobody on the Tide other than the offensive and defensive linemen squatted more than 555. Jalen was topping that at 16.

I'm not sure about that. He's freakishly strong. I looked but I cannot find Tebow's high school/freshman year weight room numbers.

Is Jalen Hurts a 4 year QB?

I would think so. He doesn't have the size to be a successful NFL QB unless he develops Drew Brees like accuracy and QB smarts.

His passing will improve enough for him to be a very solid college QB.

I doubt he is ever a good enough passer to be a NFL QB.

I guess the question becomes will the freshman surpass him after a year?

I think Hurts will do very well in the AL offense, but it seems possible Tua might be even better. But that would be a tough call to make, to take a successful qb off the field after next year.

He McCarron plays for the Bengals, NOT the Browns. Bengals have gotten to the playoffs, Browns purchased tickets!!

Tua however looked much better than Hurts did last year.

Probably because unlike last year, Saban told his defense to hold back on the blitzes. Once the defense started blitzing, and especially after he switched over to play with the 1's, Tua stopped wowing as much.

Two really serviceable quarterbacks is not a bad problem to have.

It seemed to me that, near the end of last year, defenses focused on treating hurts solely as a run threat and it did give him some problems. I would say sometimes that was due to drops, but other times poor throws or judgement. He can correct two of those things himself and it looked like he did. I still think Tua will push for the spot after this year. He may not have wowed as much when the blitzes started, but he did look impressive.

Well this pretty much proves you know jack shît about the NFL.

AJ has been in the NFL for only 3 years and plays behind Andy Dalton who's the Bengals established franchise QB. They were a couple of teams that actually approached the Bengals about trading for AJ but the Bengals turned them down.

Well. AJ plays for the Bengals, not the Browns. AJ has started games for the Bengals. Including the playoffs.

McTatty will both be paid the salary of and be a starting QB in the NFL in 2018. Hope that doesn't upset you too much.
