I honestly believe he was waiting for a reason to pull Lee as the starter.

5 will get you 10 if JL starts either game left...

He hadn't thrown an interception almost all season until Bama.

You have to understand Les. Ford fumbled in a game earlier this year and damn near didnt get a carry for three games. Les has a big doghouse. I am sure he is sending a message for those two picks in the Bama game especially now that he sees JJ playing decent enough to win.
Les is gettin JL's head right...

I will never believe that LSU would have scored less than a TD in regulation if Lee had not been taken out after a single fricking interception. Sorry. It was bullshite.

I agree.

I think LSU needs Lee against the hawgs and the dawgs. Hope Miles doesn't mess up Lee's head.

Just like Bama fans would have preferred Lee to play the whole game. there will not be any epic meltdowns on the field from either qb Mister.

Although jj has gotten better passing the ball he is still holds the ball too long, missed a wide open receiver because he wouldnt pu the trigger last night, but managed to avoid a sack and make a. Completion, but missed a sure td wide open receiver. Lee would have let it fly. Was nice seeing Jl actually run the ball and he looked better on the option than jj even though the pitch was eminent. Les seems to know his qbs. In les we trust.

Our defense was a little flat at first. But, WKU has a decent QB and a really good tailback and a good tight end. They mixed up their offense really well at first and Chavis was determined to try and beat em without blitzing. However, from the end of the first half to the end of the game we brought blitzers off the edges. Often would bring the HB and Brooks at the same time. We completely shut em down from that point. Our D also made an excellent goal line stand and stopped a 250 pound FB.

It was a good practice. It showed our coaches some more potential areas to work on in our team.

It is the most offensive yards we have gained all seaon even though it did seem out of rhythm or some kind of funky rhythm.

We held the nations 4th leading rusher to less than 90 yards.

and let mett start and really watch the o take off with a legit pro qb running the show

I was wondering when someone would get to Mett. I was very surprised (and disappointed) he didn't get a single snap.
Also, as to doghouses, OBJ3 got out of his pretty quickly considering his screw-ups. And zI like him, too. Didn't someone else fumble, too, and stay in the game?

Les was setting up other teams. For example JL ran and option and scrambled for a 15 yard run. JJ was throwing the ball all over the field. Les is "very calculated" as the announcers were stating last night. Typical Les.

At this point in the season.... this makes zero sense

up until the WKU game, they were both predictable.

Since the Ole Miss game is probably going to be similarly easy as the WKU game we will probably see more of the same, so as to make it more difficult for the later more difficult opponents to game plan.

Les Miles Recruits really well, maybe not so difficult as it might be for say, Vandy, Kentucky, Miss St.. He is also very good at preparing his team for big games. He Hires well for the most part, Chavis, Stud etc...having said that, his game managing skills in the past have sucked, Clock management, not staying with what works, Benching and yanking players in a heartbeat, well some players anyway. This technique has worked very well for him, as indicated by his winning percentage. I scratch my head @ him, why stir the pot now? There's nothing I'd rather see than LSU finishing this perfect season with a BCSNC. On the other hand, this season could quickly be in the toilet with 1 or 2 losses, if that happens you can bet this game against WK will be looked on as the turning point in this season.

I got run out of the rant for the above comments, LOlz, but Les is def a strange coach

Amen, brother. Les can't start JJ next year.

Can he?
