I think we need Lee playing to keep the ball moving with a team like Arkansas! As long as the D does the job they been doing all year and keep the offense balanced out and moving the ball we should be fine!

it depends on their d. if they stop the run better id rather lee in because he is the better passer and will open up the running lanes. if they are great in pass coverage ball hawking type team id rather jj and use more of a spread option attack. Id prefer lee start jj change up like we had been doing and i hope les keeps doing.

Im good with whatever though as long as we keep winning games like we should. If ole miss is closer than it should be ill be kinda pissed but i think les isn't going to mess up the nc chance. He blew one in 06 and he almost fricked up 07. I think les has learned from mistakes. It takes him a while sometimes to learn from what he did wrong but les has changed in his time at LSU

I really hope that is what it was just a trail to see what would happen if jj had to do all the passing. our rotation was woring before the bama game and will work vs any one but bama.

We wont see another D like bama`s and that makes me feel a lot better about the games to come. It should be business as usual here on out!

I think Lee is a real QB, and JJ at best is a wildcat QB. Lee threw two picks against one of the best D's in the country. And Miles may have phucked up Lee's head by not starting him last night.

Not a chance. Lee isn't gonna let a little thing like not starting against WKU mess his head up. Lee is tough, he'll be the same ole JLee against the Rebels that he has been all season.

My thoughts exactly. But the Hat is the Hat for a reason.

If LSU goes back to last years QB rotation, they will either lose to Arky or have the game be way closer than needed. Offense is completely different with JJ at the helm.

Thank you. A Bama fan can see this, why can't some Tiger fans? He speaks the truth. Les is going to mess up what was once a special offense.

I think Lee is LSU best QB. Somehow he elevates the playing level of the whole team. When JJ is in there even though he makes better personal plays, it just seems as if the whole team doesn't play as well.

Selfishly, I hope JJ plays well enough against Ole Miss to get the start against Arkansas.

It's nothing mysterious. One offensive strategy simply works better than the other, and idiots can't see that because they don't know how to do anything but focus on the wrong stats, rather than focusing on total yardage and points production.

As someone who has been a Lee proponent for a long time, I don't care that much about the individual stories of the QBs so much as I care about LSU running a legit offense.

Oh well, though. Four more games. Four years of miserable bickering is almost over with...

Well, the whole plan SHOULD HAVE been to have Lee start with Mett getting ever-increasing playing time so that he would be ready at a moment's notice by this time late in the season.

Which of course brings us back to...

The Crowton Principle -- the more of your valuable practice time you spend preparing to do multiple things on offense, the worse you get at all of them

The fact that people are worried about Lee's mental state should tell you all you need to know about his mental toughness. If a coach has to coddle his QB constantly because he is worried he might crack then that is not a QB who can be depended upon during adversity.

Lee looked pissed off for most of the game. I would be too if I led my team to a #1 Ranking, 9-0 on the season, and victories over some of the best competition in the land. He hadn't thrown an interception almost all season until Bama. I could understand if LSU had lost the BAMA game but they didn't. JJ may be more athletic than Lee but with JJ at the helm they only scored 14 points against one of the wost defenses in the NCAA. Navy came in and scored 28 points on them in the first half. Indiana State beat Western worst than LSU did last night in the first half. I agree that they where just looking for a reason to bench lee. The announcers kept saying that Lee did a great job the first half of the season but now we will see JJ as the starter for the rest of the season. I don't get that.
