Official visits just started. It’s only June. It’s over 6 months to ESD.
It's silly. Until they sign and with all the money floating around, how can anyone bet on a lock from any of these guys? And the fact you've got to re-recruit the entire team at the end of the season, sucks too.

What’s that got to do with 2020, Cletus?
It has everything to do with the fact that Saban lost his last game at Tiger Stadium, guy

every single summer some of you say this same thing
#2 2024 class
#3 2025 class
#2 2026 class

Where is that Husky Harsin thread?

Good for you if that’s what you want to feel giddy about, regardless of the years prior which culminate in a 30-10-2 margin for Bama.
Party on!
“Bama owns LSU at TS, but Saban lost his last game there!!!!!!” Weird flex.

It’s hitting the entire SEC the same way. There will never be teams with that kind of depth again.
And if they do happen to obtain that kind of depth, they'll never keep it.
Players will transfer out for more money and more playing time.

Yall were never ranked 45th
and your mods are making excuses about having a smaller class
Where did this offseason go?

College football offseasons can be drudgery. In contrast, it has been an interesting and often fun one for Alabama football fans. Kalen DeBoer's Alabama maintaining the program's status as a recruiting juggernaut has been a joy for Tide fans.

Sure we were.
WillyT made several threads about it.
When we finished #2 he naturally crawled back into his mother's basement with NFLSU.

oh well, at least we don't have an asterisk next to our most recent natty

Please help me find this asterisk of which you speak.

ESPN

You know, I'm starting to think this whole concept of an asterisk was just made up by LSU fans who are sad their team went 5-5 in 2020.

Yeah, because the fact Bama had ZERO players miss a game due to Covid the whole season while Ohio State had 12 players out per week and missed 13 players for the natty game against y'all is totally not suspicious
it doesn't matter, that season deserves an asterisk and, even counting it, get ready to go your 6th season without a natty, hope it's fun!

Using 247 Sports OVERALL tab for recruiting reveals OP not in touch with his feels.
Of the last 4 years (2023 - 2026 posted below) only Alabama, Ohio St., and Texas were in the top 5 every year.
Total 5-stars for these last 4 years, Alabama 22, Texas 19, tOSU 13.
Avg. Ranking for the 4 years, Alabama #2.75, Texas #3, tOSU 3.5.
Maybe Alabama isn't retaining recruits, or selecting those that produce, or just not coaching improvement, regardless they're above everyone else in overall recruiting for the last 4 years.
2023 Overall ranking #1. 9...5-stars
2024 Overall ranking #2. 6...5-stars
2025 Overall ranking #4. 3...5-stars
2026 Overall ranking #4. 3...5-stars
OTOH, the 3 star count has been trending down, but overall recruiting is better than the rest.

Bama had the number 2 or 3 class in the country last year. Theyre still getting plenty of high level recruits. They won't be as high this year because they're only taking around 15 recruits, but they will still get theirs as they do every year.

So you think Bama was paying players, but LSU and everybody else wasn't? GTFO.
