It’s possible, just not likely to happen. I don’t think we’ll see any coach have a Saban type run.

Could? yes

Will? probably not.

Their GOAT team from last year barely beat a depleted 3rd worst team in Saban's tenure at Alabama. I'm not sure if Kirby will improve the Georgia program to the point of what it takes to have a Saban-like program and I don't Kirby is a Saban. Not even close.

Georgia's fans are on par with Bama fans though. But their admin and boosters are nowhere near the level of Bama's. Bama only has football and little else.

No chance. Kirby is no Saban.

nobdoy is saban, it's not just kirby.

Not sure why an LSU fan starts a thread like this, aside from just wanting people to laugh at the notion

This isn't even close to true.

You ate too many crayons while in the Corps.

Looks like Georgia's schedule sets up nicely for another run this year.

And true, what part of football do you not understand?

Yeah, because UGA played for so many NC in the years between 1980 and 2017

He could end up with more wins based on his age but he'll never be able to have the success season to season that Saban has had.

Since 2017

UGA has been in the mix for the NC 2 times 2017 and 2021

Bama has been in the mix 4 times, 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021

I'm not hte perseon you're responding to, but none of what you're saying has anything to do with his point. All he said was that our fans and boosters are cut from the same cloth as bama. Or at the very least, aren't worlds behind them like was claimed.

You posting records of what's happend on the field doesn't have a shred of anything to do with his point.

He won it all last year. Seems to have an easier schedule this year. Plays in the SEC East. He's recruiting great and seems to be developing players well. If he stays there and has the support of donors and admin, he can definitely be in the hunt every year.

I think we win another one in the next 5 years, maybe even this year. But no one will ever have the success Sabans had at Bama.

all of that is true. None of that equates to "equaling the best dynasty run in the entire history of the sport".

What you've subtly done, and kudos there, is plant the seed so that several months from now people will go "I remember back in the summer when all you dwag fans kept saying yall were gonna be the next bama and kirby was better than saban!!!! lmaoo"

Dawgs scored four TDs in the NC game. Bama scored two and one was an absolute gift. The game wasn’t as close as the 33-18 score. Three of Georgia’s four TDs were scored by freshman.

Conceivable? Yes. Will it happen? I doubt it.
