I don't think we see another Saban level run, but it's not far fetched to think Kirby could have 3-4 titles in hand over the next 10-15 years.

Everyone loved the "UGA is underachieving"... "UGA is a sleeping giant" lines when we were still searching for the breakthrough title, but now that we've won a title it's become, "Well, that's all she wrote for them"

Georgia has the resources to win titles at a regular clip. We just needed someone to show the admin how the frick you do it.

Yeah. He very well could. Look at the results. He is young, keeps his religious and political beliefs to himself. Obviously loves the school he works for. And he is still getting better. He hasn’t peaked. He won’t leave UGA. There is a reason Nick was unusually emotional when Kirby took the Georgia job. Like he lost his right arm.

I'm not hte perseon you're responding to, but none of what you're saying has anything to do with his point. All he said was that our fans and boosters are cut from the same cloth as bama. Or at the very least, aren't worlds behind them like was claimed.

You posting records of what's happend on the field doesn't have a shred of anything to do with his point.

During Saban's era, three other SEC West teams have won a National Title (2007 LSU, 2010 Auburn, 2019 LSU) and two others have played for a National Title (2011 LSU, 2014 Auburn).

Saban has had his dominance while playing in a tougher division than Kirby will ever see.

Could be Dabo-esque. 2 titles in 3 years and playing for a 3rd in 4 years is damn good.

Georgia gets Bama type talent, but they don't get Bama coaching and development.

Did you go into a coma before 2021 and finally wake up? Because this take isn’t accounting for what just happened

Saban was 52 when he won his first natty. Kirby is 46. Tennerssee is fricked.

Yeah, and every single UGA fan in here has responded to the LSU op in the same way.

Winning 6 titles and playing for three more in 13 years is not a realistic goal for anyone.

Dawgs scored four TDs in the NC game. Bama scored two and one was an absolute gift. The game wasn’t as close as the 33-18 score. Three of Georgia’s four TDs were scored by freshman.

You were losing with less than 9 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter.

Yea, that 4th q fumble by our backup qb could have been a killer, but then he threw a td to our backup wr, and the rest is history.

You are going to get down votes but I think that is a really good question. Getting to the top of mountain is very hard... staying there is a lot harder.

He is in the easier division. I doubt he'll run into teams like 2019 LSU, 2013 or 2010 Auburn. Not to mention that Clemson's run looks practically over; if Ohio State doesn't take up that foil then it really just falls to Alabama to stop them.

Uga played all 3 of those teams.

That's... fair.

Seriously, my bad. I definitely cannot fathom how I forgot 2013 Auburn especially.

We still blame ourselves for allowing that tomfoolery to happen.

frickers could have batted down one damn ball, and we wouldn't have had to see the Kick Six and Missouri Mudhole Stomping.
