Both won the Thorpe and Bednarik. Both were two time All-Americans. Minkah was a 2x consensus all American, a 2x SEC champion, and a 2x National champion.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but this reasoning is stupid.

You have no idea what the team needs will be for NFL teams two years from now that will be picking in the Top 10.

That's why I said what I said man. Team needs and other factors could play into it. But if Thompson goes 20th and Delpit goes 5th, that's a indication that Delpit is thought of as NFL scouts as the better player. And whose opinion could matter more than NFL scouts? But if Thompson goes 8th and Delpit goes 5th then I couldn't use that as an indication of him being better.

And Delpit will have him beat in every recordable stat other than pick sixes.

Pick sixes ARE important. But tackles, sacks, tackles for loss, and interceptions as a quantitive whole hold a little more weight.

Edit: I know you were talking about Minkah and PP lol. I just felt like being a dick for a second.

I always pulled for Eddie. Love seeing 3 stars turn into stars like that. Hes doing pretty damn well in the NFL as well. Happy for the guy.

Those INTs and TFLs make up less then 10% of a player’s total plays.

Claiming someone is better than a Bama player? Bold move.

ETA: I see you've been properly lambasted for suggesting such a thing. You got what you deserved.

Bama has better players across the board than anyone in the country, you should know this by now. What kind of fool are you for even trying to compare.

I lost my head..

Delpit cant hold Minkahs jockstrap since Minkah had more pick sixes. Even though Delpits interceptions are him diving through the air out of nowhere from 35 yards away and Minkah was catching punts because of Bamas pass rush ;)

Delpit is a 6'4" ballhawk that's the best pass rusher on our team right now
that's pretty sad. I sure hope you try blitzing your safeties and corners against tua.

Our star pass rusher K'Lavon Chaisson tore his ACL.

Edit: and I hope we blitz Tua as well. We have the best corner in the country back there to shut down Jerry Booty.

Idk..

Let us know when he passes Minkah's 6 in a season and somehow manages to find the end zone. Minkah had 4 pick sixes, including one for 109 yards.

He already has 5 through 8 games smart arse...
