How? If your defense was so good wouldn't they have been able to stop Florida's simple run game?

Does the same apply to Minkah and Ole Miss throwing the ball all over the yard?

I'm guessing not.

Delpit has 100% been the best player on our defense this year. He pretty much single handedly caused the UGA game to be a blowout.

Doesn't count. 3rd goal post adjustment just before the next page. Only LSU counts.

Chad Kelly threw for over 300 yards on that great defense.....

Delpit is damn good. If he doesn’t get hurt and plays 3 years, he could end up being the best

MontyFranklin is THE prototypical Bama fan. PLEASE be honest. PLEASE MONTY. How many Bama tattoos do you have on your body right now?

Grant is good but I wouldn't go as far as saying best safety since Eric Berry. Still a lot of ball to play.

You wouldn't compare a half year to an entire career. We will see.

None. I only have two tats. A diamond with a Phi Nu Pi scroll in the middle (needs to be redone) and a brand of a diamond with a K in the middle. Had it outlined in red and black

I'm not saying Grant is for sure better right now. I'm just saying by the end of next season he could looked at as the best safety to play in the SEC in the last 30 years. He. Has. No. Weakness.

6'4"
AWESOME tackler
Leads the nation in int's
Leads LSU in sacks
8.5 tackles for loss barely halfway through the season
Hes a true sophomore.
Best motor I've seen since Mathieu.

If he keeps this up then he could end up the best since Eric Berry. Or even better.

I dont know why people think that kind of stuff is impossible. There will ALWAYS be someone that comes along in any sport that will be better. Delpit just may be that guy.

I've watched EVERY SECOND of every LSU game for 2 decades now. Hes the best safety I've seen play for LSU. And it's not close, to me. Hes making Jamal Adam's look like just an above average safety when he played for us.

He will probably end the season with:

7-8 interceptions
6-7 sacks
12-13 tackles for loss
80-85 tackles

Like WHAT? I know those are projections but after Bama we are hitting the EASY part of our schedule. Delpit is becoming legendary for us and people want to act like hes just another above average safety. The kid is special if people would just objectively watch the kid.

The play he made against UGA to blow up the FG goes down in the stats as nothing more than a tackle but there aren't many players over the years that have the skill set to diagnose it, get there, and make the tackle.

He recognized the fake INSTANTLY and even turned around as the play was developing to make sure DW had the releasing receiver. Then he proceeds to make the tackle and change the momentum of the game. And we go to blowout the number 2 team in the country.

THANK YOU FOR BEING OBJECTIVE. But would you say if he has the same season as hes having now but as a junior he could be regarded as Eric Berry good as a college safety? I mean he could end up with the best career stats wise for a safety in the last 30 years.

I am sure he will be out by halftime for making too many tackles
