Might just shut it down to get ready for NFL.

He came back to early the first time. No need to make that mistake twice.

He is resting an injured ankle. We don't need him for Southern Miss. We do, however, need him healthy for the rest of our SEC slate.

LSU ran for 400 yards and 6 TDs without him against Missouri.
They will be alright.
They will be alright.

Agreed. Just shut it down and come back in March/April

Nope, Lanard is only a sophomore.

I don't understand why top talent would go to LSU. Simmons, Fournette... Who's next to win jack shite?

no, fournette probably shouldn't have been playing the first few games in the first place. by doing that he re-injured an already not even close to 100% ankle. he suffered a high ankle sprain 2 weeks before the first game, was in a boot and not practicing, etc. those take time to heal. however, he kept playing and was getting his normal load of carries. then, when he landed awkwardly on his ankle at the end of the auburn game, he could barely move around. he's not playing because he legitimately hurt. and orgeron isn't just going to trot him out there like miles likely would have.

Orgeron is the one not allowing him to play. He was injured before the year, if you remember. He told Miles he was ready and Miles took him for his word. You saw him aggravate it against Wisconsin, and just generally not look as explosive. He left the Auburn game further injuring himself.

He turned in his pads this morning.

I was waiting for someone to ignorantly bring up Clowney.

I was asking about Fournette not LSU. It'd be a shame if they ran his career into the ground.

Alabama only has 25 scholarships each year. They're really the only team to "win jack shite" since LSU last won the SEC. Auburn is the only other school to win an SEC west and/or SEC title since then.
