I think that all you need is just a very efficient and gelled defensive line.

Bingo. Easier said than done, but I concur.

Which is why I think Manziel would have serious problems against South Carolina. I've always felt they have something on defense that Alabama and LSU don't. Probably just me though.

I'd put sc's line in '12 just behind lsu and just ahead of bama's, but that's just splitting hairs. Either way, that's a prototype line to give HUNH fits.

Im saying that is LSU was forced by the officials to snap the ball within ten seconds of the last play at least once on almost every series LSU probably wouldnt have won.

But we weren't so you're telling me Johnny and Sumlin can't win when a team does something as simple as give themselves an extra 10 seconds?

I guess they figure if they say it enough times it will be true. A&M will have one of the two best offensive lines in the conference again this year.

Mike Matthews, the younger brother of Jake and the #1 center in the country out of HS in 2012, takes over for Lewis. German Ifedi will likely take over at guard.

Ask Les Miles.

He is infamous for calling for the injury fake

This is funny. People rag on Les Miles all day for being a poor game day coach... And when he does something smart and crafty to counter gimmick offenses, they whine like little girls.

I'm glad LSU isn't dumb enough to just let teams motor through their possessions like that.

Hurry-up offenses are designed to take advantage of the defense's inability to substitute. They thrive off of gassing the defense. In reply, I am 100% okay with my team's defense doing whatever it takes to not get gassed.

If you have the depth to handle players sitting out required plays due to "injury," then I say go for it.

Guess what? LSU has depth. It's our strength. So you play to your strength, and we will play to ours.

I don't give one shite if the Oregons and A&Ms of the world are miffed by it. Take your loss and know you were beaten by a smarter, more clever opponent.

Why is it a gimmick? We've had no huddle and hurry up for many years. The newer change is the spread, and the OLD hurry up combined.

Is taking a fall coached? Yes.

See this:
SFA looking at coaches and then falling (two guys)

A bunch of whining in here about flopping from fans of teams that can't just line up and win just playing football. We must try to hurry up and change the game to try and win.

You do realize that bama has been running more and more HUNH over the past couple years, right? Don't hate because certain coaches are just innovative. I'm sure people said the same thing about the forward pass. Just embrace the speed.

And if Bama runs a HUNH offense, I will be fine with the other team faking injuries as long as it is legal. Smart by the coaches. It is called a strategy, like the HUNH.

So faking injuries caused aTm to have 5 turnovers?

Saban doesn't do it but I sort of wish he did. If every coach used this tactic it would neutralize the HUNH and teams would stop using this pussy offense.
