Most of those teams try to play the same style as bama against them. That is committing football suicide. Clemson will spread bama out and make their defenders play in space. It will be a close game

Ole Miss(yes they lost off fluke turnovers but still better than Ole Miss)

There was one fluke turnover on a kick return. Alabama, as is usually the case, has gotten better throughout the season; but four of those five turnovers were forced.

Clemson will spread them out and try to beat them the same way Ohio state did, but you have a couple problems here:

1. Bama D line is better than last year. They lightened up across the front to about 310-315 per man and they are lightning fast at that size now. This D line is one of he best I've ever seen having this many guys rotating in at that size with strength and speed.
2. They lightened up the back end and they are better in coverage. Also, the D line will not give Watson much time. The bama front on D is so good that they will it rush 4-5 and shutdown the run game, so they'll be able to spy Watson and still cover everyone easily.

The only chance Clemson has is opportunistic turnovers and Watson carrying the load which he cannot do on his own against this caliber of competition. It's hard to step up to that level when you've never seen it.

So 5 turnovers were not an anomaly? How many other games did Bama commit 5 turnovers? How many games did Ole Miss force 5 turnovers?

No one can overcome 5 turnovers against ole miss and win. Being that close with 5 turnovers is actually pretty impressive.

the turnovers weren't the issue. The play that changed that game was the ball bouncing off the helmet for a td. that was 3rd down and bama was down 7. At the very least ole miss should have had to punt. Being down 7 and 14 are completley different animals.

The other play that was the killer was the illegal men down field. That was total BS and that rule needs to be looked at for the off season.

the 5 turnovers Ole Miss forced were earned. Those other 2 plays were BS.

Ole Miss won though so congrats to them. Congrats on the Sugar Bowl win, enjoy watching Bama on tv this monday.

By fluke I mean unforced turnovers. The opening kickoff a Bama player's knee hit his own returner and caused a fluke turnover. The rest of the turnovers happened because an Ole Miss player made a play on the ball.

Two of the interceptions were thrown directly to Ole Miss. There was not an Alabam's player within 10 yards.

A fluke onside kick and the score would have been worse.

On the first interception the middle linebacker blitz gets to Bateman and he just chunks the ball up for grabs. Elston drops back to play center field and makes the play on the ball.

On the second interception C.J. Johnson jumps the route for the pick.

LINK

On the third interception Coker gets absolutely destroyed as he's releasing the ball which causes it to be underthrown for the interception.

This is cute. What has prepared Clemson for Bama's defense? Notre Dame?

I do have to wonder...Mixon and Perine both got hurt vs Clemson basically eliminating OU's run game..Henry and Drake are healthy.

about the flow of the game. When running hunh it can be tougher on that teams defense. Whether feeling comfortable with big leads or wearing down as the game goes on. Make no mistake about it Clemson has NFL talent all over the defense

Clemson rarely used hunh in nc state game. Do u even watch games?
