It wasn't Oklahoma's "worst game", they just play no defenses in their conference. The fact of the matter is that when TCU and Baylor have healthy QB's, they are both better than chokelahoma. Oklahoma hasn't beat a ranked team with their 1st team QB this year. That is why they got smacked by clemson.

Mississippi State would give Clemson all they want. Miss St could beat those fake top 10 opponents clemson played.

A defense that gave up 41 points to Nc State, 32 to south carolina and 27 to Syracuse?
Clemson got up big in all of those games. Yes they do fall asleep with big leads but show up when they need to.

Clemson seems to thrive off being disrespected. And after the Cotton Bowl I was wondering if Alabama wasn't creeping towards "just happy to be here" territory. I hope they aren't taking Clemson as lightly as some of the fans are.

The OP is not too far off. Missippi ST and Clemson are similar. I think Missippi State has better WRs and Clemson has a better RB. Dak is a more powerful runner while Watson is more explosive. Missippi St offensive line is awful. Clemson's offensive line is better, but stll pretty pedestrian. I'm surprised they didn't cost them a game.

Missippi State is more stout in run defense and Clemson has better pass rush. Clemson has good athletes in the secondary and a decent pass defense and that is what sets them apart. Missippi St is lacking in their secondary.

I watched the entire Clemson/Nc State game. It was a game until 5 minutes left. And Nc State SUCKS. Almost lost to a shitty Louisville team too. Even Auburn beat them.

Its about the flow of the game. When running hunh it can be tougher on that teams defense. Whether feeling comfortable with big leads or wearing down as the game goes on. Make no mistake about it Clemson has NFL talent all over the defense

That make shift O-line will be exposed though. The fact the no team Clemson faced this year was able to expose it lets me know Clemson's schedule was shite.

They are pretty much the same except that Clemson has offensive linemen that block people, defensive players that tackle people, have fewer losses, more wins, and aren't playing in the Belk Bowl.

Miss St played Bama tougher then anyone else did all season on defense. Take out 3 plays in that game and Bama really didn't move the ball.

Alabama is going to manhandle both lines. Clemson is young and has seen nothing like the animal they will on monday night

TommyM:

I'm not even an Alabama fan, I just think they are that much better as a team. Look at every position and alabama has the edge at almost every position. Probably 21/22 starters favors bama on the first team. The second team is all bama. They are simply deeper and better.

Notre Dame didn't beat a top 25 team all year except navy. FSU benefited from a very weak ACC schedule and was not very good this year either. They lost to Houston and georgia tech - enough said.

And how can you only count Mississippi state and wisconsin as quality wins? Look at the whole schedule? How do you explain that no team clemson beat will finish in the top 10?

No one is disrespecting Clemson as much as they are violently reacting to this nonsense that Bama curls up in the fetal position when they see a mobile QB, and that somehow Clemson has this magic potion that turns Saban defenses into mush because Dashaun Watson can run around. Chad Kelly is better.

Wisconsin, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Tennessee, Ole Miss(yes they lost off fluke turnovers but still better than Ole Miss), LSU, Auburn, Michigan State.

That schedule right there is brutal no matter what you say. And before you say auburn sucks, let's not forget they beat louisville who clemson struggled badly to beat.
