What if they had joined when originally invited? No South Carolina or Arkansas?

Fla State and Clemson are desperate to get into the SEC. Why do we want to help them?

ESPN, in great $$$ problems, is not gonna give us loads more money which means adding F$U and Clemson MIGHT end up meaning less payout to the 16 of us already in the SEC.

I'm shocked that an LSU fan is skeered of FSU being in the SEC.

They're nowhere near AAU status.

Is AAU a measurement of how adequately a university pushes leftist propaganda and programs their students?

Association of American Universities. Mainly about research and supposedly a requirement for B1G membership (Nebraska was still a member when they were invited). Current SEC members are UF, Mizzou, A&M, and Vandy.

which is why they won’t use it
but yes, the original 10 should be really happy with that format.. just have to work out the perm rivals for all 20 teams

Definite
Auburn vs Georgia
Alabama vs Tennessee
Florida vs FSU

Maybe?
Arkansas vs Ole Miss
Texas vs LSU
OU vs Clemson
A&M vs UNC
Miz vs UVA
State vs Kentucky
SC vs Vanderbilt

or something like that.. I know the obvious objection..

I do not want FSU and Clemson in our conference. I hope this shite is a rumor. It's a bloodbath already most years. Put FSU in the SEC and their recruiting will take off even more than it already has under Norvell.

Wouldn't you flip Fl. with somebody to keep both state schools together?

*thinking*

Or would you flip FSU to not only keep both state schools together, but keep WLOCP?

However, per the bottom text, the 2nd option is better keeping Ga./Aub. as "1 perm".

The money is not there from the networks to continue adding members.

The SEC is plenty big enough to never get left behind.

Why add members if your annual split of revenue drops?
