No way. This is not bad. Anyways, someone answer this rhetorical question. It deserves an answer.

Named after his maternal grandfather who passed away 2 weeks before he was born. He has 4 “Pix” this season, behind the 2 MS QB’s that have a combined 19 “pix”.

He has had a rough start and God knows how many he would have thrown if not for Seth Williams bailing him out. He shows some great flashes though...new OC, no Spring has got to be rough but many other QB’s are managing just fine. We will see if he settles down.

Mr. Jackson's name is actually Vincent Edward. Bo is a nickname.

On this note, maybe we Louisiana folk ought to not make fun of nicknames. We have some dooozies. Trust me.

And so, to answer the question of how did
did he get the nickname he goes by ?
Here's the straight dope :
"Regarded as stubborn and hard-headed
by his family and friends, Jackson earned
the nickname "Bo," which was shortened
from "boar hog."

Nix shares a name with Auburn great Bo Jackson, but he was not named after the player. That has been widely reported, but Nix was actually named after his maternal grandfather, who passed away two months before Bo was born.

Probably not, but Bo Pellini might be. Lord knows he makes almost any running back look like a Heisman winner.
