It doesn't bother me. You say he was our 5th or 6th option, yet he has already beaten two of the first year coaches you likely think "passed us up." He will also beat Mizzou in year one. He is the best new hire in the league by a frickin mile and anyone watching these games would agree.
Both Costello and Corrall were touted as the best QBs in the league and Barry Odom ruined both of them. Missouri won't do any better. Deal with it.

Arkansas defense barely showed any fight with Chad/Chavis. The Hogs are getting key stops that they haven’t in quite some time which has allowed them to actually play competitive SEC ball again.

Lane Kiffin attempted nine fourth down conversions against the Hogs. This destroys the "fluke" narrative. Yes, Arkansas was turning them over, but they've also been turning teams over on downs.

They put up over 400 yards despite 7 turnovers. Had they held onto the ball they would have went for 600 and 40. It is what it is.

Odom is up there for sure. With his unbelievable turnaround of the Arky D and his head coaching resume, it's going to be really tough for Arky to hold on to him as a coordinator. I'd be very surprised if he isn't a head coach again by next season.

Our AD did his rounds and was convinced by a group of former players Pittman could get the job done. He offered him the job.
