Johnny Football, a once in a lifetime football talent, one of the best college QB's to ever play the game, has been spiraling downward lately.

He was born with a disease that has always made it harder for him to function. That disease is addiction. Being a soldier, he has fought it with all his strength and was doing very well lately.

Then, this woman named Bre Tiesi tricked him and made him think she loved him and cared for him. She seemed to be a loving, caring, nurturing, and wholesome woman who truly cared for Johnny. None of that was true. She was just out for his money and didn't care for Johnny at all.

He didn't know it. He didn't understand how tricky and deceitful women can be. Now he is back at clubs again, drinking again, probably doing those old drugs again because of her.

I just wanted everyone to maybe stop for a minute today and let's say a prayer for Johnny. Let's lift him up out of this spiral he is back in and let him know that we all care for him.

Thanks.

It's not a disease. It's a choice. It's a choice I made many, many times in my life before I decided to do something about it.

bullshite. He's doing those things because he's never bothered to learn other ways to cope with his emotions. No one is making him shovel shite up his nose or pounds pills down his throat. It's a choice and he only has himself to blame for doing that. Again, I speak from a lot of experience with this.

Exactly. You can't walk out in cold weather with wet hair and suddenly catch crackhead.

Nice alter

And screw Manziel, his domino effect of poor choices is what ran his legacy into the ground. He's a grown arse man and needs to wise the hell up on his own. He's been nothing but a spoiled rich boy all his life.

This has to be an Aggie alter.

And no, I don't feel sorry for Johnny. It sounds like he wanted to be at the club more than he wanted to be at home with his wife.

What does nice alter mean? Anyway, Manziel is just a kid that was born with a horrible disease. He can no more stop drinking or doing drugs than you can stop breathing.

People like you just don't understand. Diseases don't just disappear because somebody says "be strong" or "don't do it".

And now he doesn't have a job again and the woman who portrayed herself as a person with deep moral values turned out to be a liar and vain and only worried about herself.

Johnny deserved better than her. I'm just saying maybe we should all kind of come together and pray for Johnny right now because he is going through a tough time.

People are born with different addiction issues. It runs deep in my family whether it's drugs, alcohol or smoking. It's still a choice to do those things. I teach my kid about it all the time. If you know you're predisposed to higher likelihood of addiction, don't drink or do drugs. I relate it to weight loss. If you know you have a slow metabolism and you want to be skinny, don't eat junk food. You never hear anyone say having a slow metabolism is a disease.

His wife left him and now he is going around with jackets on that show a broken heart.

It's sad what is happening to this little kid. Bre doesn't give a damn about him; that much is clear now.

I've lived it. It was always a choice to get high. No one made me do it. People with cancer don't have a choice, it's just there.

it's a disease, but you do have choices and it's up to them from there.

Just because you are a drug addict doesn't mean other people can't have their thoughts on it and have to bow to your flawed knowledge.

You don't have all the answers yourself or you wouldn't be a drug addict.

It is a disease. Johnny was born with it and is helpless to prevent it's progression. If he could have stopped, he already would have.

Major props to Kevin Sumlin for somehow getting Johnny Football to stay out of trouble long enough to actually capitalize on his talent and accomplish some great things in college. It has been all downhill since.

You have the same type of personality as Bre does.

It's both. You choose to do a drug but your biological, and psychological makeup, strongly determine whether or not you'll become an addict.

Some people can try the hardest of drugs and never get hooked while others get hooked quickly or even the first time. Genetics has a lot to do with that.
