Manziels ex wife. I don't doubt he struggles with addiction but going to a bar is his choice.

Eating food is a choice too but, you have to do it to live. If you have a disease, you have to do drugs/drink to live.

That is why it is a disease.

Seems like you are drunk or stoned by the way you can't piece together a single sentence correctly.

Do you have a disease?

I believe he struggles with addiction, but he's the one who decided to buy a $2500 jacket, hop in a car, and enter the bar. He could've just gone to mom and dads house for a while/family vacation with those close to him so he wouldn't give in.

I just wanted everyone to maybe stop for a minute today and let's say a prayer for Johnny. Let's lift him up out of this spiral he is back in and let him know that we all care for him.

No, he didn't choose to buy that jacket, hop in a car, and enter the bar. The disease he has chose to do that, not Johnny.

Does a person with melanoma choose to let death spread over their skin like ivy or does the disease just do it?

Without that lone victory over Alabama in 2012, Manziel never wins the Heisman and is a forgotten former QB by this point.

To hell with all of you heartless cretins, to hell with you.

If nobody gives a damn about Johnny Manziel and his disease, that's on you.

I try to just ask for some prayers for a kid that is dying from a disease and all anyone can do is say he should cure it himself, like he is a deity or something.

Nobody here has a heart. All of you are sociopath demons.

If I had a heart I would have succumbed to addiction.

I've lived it. It was always a choice to get high. No one made me do it. People with cancer don't have a choice, it's just there.
So how do you explain the fact that children of addicts are 8 times more likely to become addicts than others? Genetic predisposition to addiction has been documented. I admire your willingness and desire to beat it, though.

I agree addiction is not a disease, just like E. Coli. Not a disease. It is a choice You don't have to eat lettuce. It was your choice to eat lettuce. Your fault for getting E. Coli.

So with that analogy, emphysema and cardiac DISEASE are not diseases because it was your choice to smoke cigarettes. That's crazy!

Some people are genetically predisposed to becoming addicted to certain drugs. I guess those people who get physically addicted to pain killers after major injuries chose that.

Addiction is not a disease and not genetic and has never been proven to be either. Calling it a disease or genetic is just a crutch for pussies and the weak minded.
