It has to be between bama and the MS schools.

I say that Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Arkansas all have their fair share of rednecks. Also, Cajuns are their own brand of redneck. Just being a redneck is neither good nor bad. It's how you approach life that matters.

Clarification request: Can a person be both a Redneck AND White Trash or are do the terms mean the same thing? Or, are Rednecks and White Trash mutually exclusive of each other?

Negative stereotyping/generalizing says more about the true character of the idiots doing it than it does about their targets. Carry on.

I think to myself, “This is what 1972 must have been like.” I mean it’s like going back in time to a less sophisticated era.
Less sophisticated like when people with penises were men and people with vaginas were women?

Do you really think any fan base exists that has no "trash" among its fan base?

That title would have to go to Mississippi state. I mean they shake cowbells.

50 years ago, when college degrees were more out of reach (and likely worth something), many southern white folks were poor to middle class, rural, agrarian, hardworking and Christian. It is very difficult and rare now to be poor and not have some form of less than ideal family dynamic….single parent, hS dropout, substance abuse, teenage pregnancy, etc. frankly this was the case in the black community as well. And I’d submit in many ways both had a better quality of life. You can blame drugs, fatherless households, and a whole host of factors.
That Redneck may have smoked Marlboros, drank Budweiser, and cussed at the Sat night rasslin program. But he paid his taxes, disciplined his kids, and paid his own way….and he was a benefit not a detriment to society. The working black man too.

No, Lsu. They have the worst fanbase. It shouldn't be surprising Louisiana ranks last in everything. Receipt
quote:
U.S. & World News ranks Louisiana the worst state in the nation, as it has every year since 2017. Low performance across all metrics, especially crime and education concerns.
The state ranks first in the nation for homicide, with 15.8 murders for every 100,000 people, far outpacing the runner-up, Missouri, with 11.8 homicides per 100,000. It also has the nation's highest incarceration rate, with 680 incarcerated individuals for every 100,000 residents.
The state has the highest level of poverty, at 19%, and among the highest levels of food insecurity. School spending is the lowest in the nation.
