Meh. It's a title thing. Two of those guys were hired away from head coaching positions at G5 schools. Can't just give them a position coach title and pay the salary it takes to keep them.

That's also how they get around salary freezes during lean times to give pay raises. Slap "executive" or something like that in the title and call it a promotion so the board doesn't question it.
