LSU's current rival is Ole Miss.
Bama really doesn't want to be LSU's rival, they destroy rival programs. First Tulane, and then Ole Miss.

I don't consider Bama a rival. Most LSU fans think Saban is a POS, but without that I don't think there's any special hatred for Bama. You're just another team we play. I don't think LSU has any real rivals at the moment. Around Baton Rouge there doesn't seem to be any team that's particularly disliked or anything.

Bammers are like dementia patients. They can remember moments in history but forget some of the big periods. They forget the Mike's Era (Dubose, Price and Shula) and Fran, Perkins,Curry Era and think their entire history is Bryant and Saban. They believe that the definition of rival is that other fanbases hate you.

After watching that special on ESPN about the bama/auburn rival. I have come to the conclusion that there are no other true rivalries in the SEC. Damn, you guys hate each other.

Even though Georgia and Alabama are neighbors, I really do not think of them as rivals. UGA and Bama have played roughly 60 times, and not that often over the last 30 or 40 years. I do treat it as a big game when we do play, but not on par with our games with Tennessee, Florida, Auburn, and GT.
