To me our main rival is ole miss from a pure hate perspective
Bama is 2a
Florida is 2b
Auburn 3
Arkansas 4
A&M is 5
Bama is 2a

LSU doesn’t have a “main rival” IMO… but they are probably a major rival to more teams than just about any other.
Alabama- LSU is a major rival to them, but is #3 behind Auburn and Tennessee
Auburn- LSU is a major rival but they are #3 behind Bama and Georgia… were 4th behind UF as well and might still be viewed that way for some of the old timers.
Ole Miss- LSU is their #2 rival behind MSU
Texas A&M- LSU is #2 behind Texas
Miss St- Not sure where they stand but I’d guess # 3 behind Ole Miss and Bama
Arkansas- this is the only one I’m not sure about. Had Aggie or Texas never joined the league I’d guess most Arkansas fans would say LSU was their #1 by now. But A&M might be a bigger rival now and I suspect Texas will be #1 after they’ve been in the league for a few years.
Florida- probably #3 behind FSU and Georgia? Historically I think Auburn may have been #3 for a time. Tennessee could have been #3 for awhile when that game was a big deal. I’d guess LSU is likely #3 now.

We don’t have a rival, and we’re cool with that. The only school I actually hate is Auburn, and I still even root for them sometimes when they have coaches or players I like.

Oh my. LSU is such a little brother to Bama with the second most national championships and appearances this century. This century LSU has 11 wins and Alabama has 13 wins, 5 of which went into overtime.

Historically speaking (going all the way back), Ole Miss has been LSU's chief rival; however, over the past 50 years, Bama has replaced Ole Miss (primarily due to Ole Miss' decline from their power days of the 1950s and 1960s).
But, A&M -- now that they're in the SEC -- has certainly moved up fairly close to those two, imo. LSU fans would know more about this, however.
