Why do we give them credit for FCS wins? The reality is they are 2-6 vs their actual division

They literaaly ran the last quarter with a rolling game clock. Yes, rolling as in 15 "live time" and uninterrupted minutes. OU was going to hang one hundred fugging points & pitch a shutout on aggy.

I don't know, 77-0 was a team that everyone knew sucked. And it was in front of the same schools that had known A&M for a hundred years, so it was hilarious but not exactly a program-killing fall from grace. It was just... another embarrassing home loss for a shite program.
This season stings because they are so, so desperate for acceptance by their new SEC step-parents. This was their year! They were riding high, and truly believed they were playoff bound, they were going to EARN the SEC's respect, damnit.

You'd think a fanbase of any team would be humbled and know their place after that, but not aggies. Aggie fans are still as delusional as ever and think they need to carry themselves with the same expectations that actual football powers have. It's why they're so arrogant all of the time.
They were played by the media like a cheap fiddle and fell for it hook, line and sinker. Not surprising, after all. Aggie fans typically aren't very smart as most of them are rejects from the actual flagship university of the state.
Still, you almost feel bad for them for how much the media plays them up just to expectedly drag them down. It's like everybody knows what a perfect punching bag those dorks are
