True... But you remember what Cam said? I wanted to go to MSU, Cecil said Auburn...

Yep, but there needs to be proof that he actually obtained money from AU or a booster. Right now, you've got a dad trying to get a payday, not that it was actually accomplished.
b-b-b-b-but- I thought Aubarn's stance was thay Cecil didnt mean money when he said it would take more than a scholarship?

Not good for MSU
Someone help me. Why would this be bad for MSU if they passed on paying?

Wow. So he actually threw a date out there for public consumption.
He threw out a location too.

Umm, he enrolled at Auburn right? And not MSU right? Pretty clear that AU came up with the $$$
Clear if you want to make assumptions. Hopefully, the NCAA will be looking for proof that this occurred though.

Kenny Rogers said he did not have any knowledge of if MSU was ready to pay
How convenient his memory is only slanted in a particular direction. I mean really?

I'm not so sure this really points the finget at AU any more than MSU. I think the important thing to remember is this just makes the Newtons look even shadier.
Now the digging will get much deeper, meaning this isn't just going to fade away like so many AU fans hoped for.
Cam and his father look very, very suspicious at this point.

it's not hard to imagine that Auburn gives you a better shot at the NFL. if neither school is paying shite, which school is better? i'll take auburn every day.
Auburn = better paycheck in 2 years.

Ummmm the alleged meeting between Newton and the two MSU coaches took place in Nov 2009 and State didn't report till Jan 2010???? MSU is NOT Golden in this at all.

Scott free?....they have an ineligible player as their starting qb. They played him with knowledge that there may be problems with his eligibility. If this holds true...if....they lose their season.
