I hope no SEC team gets stuck with Cincy. I would rather see them play a P5 team.

The Peach is required to take the mid major this season.

So Clemson loses to Notre Dame again but doesn’t drop?

Clemson will probably beat Notre Dame and Alabama will be favored vs UF. If Clemson and Alabama win I think it will go like this

Alabama
Clemson
Ohio State
Notre Dame

if Ohio State plays and win 2 or 3 more I think Ohio State will be #2 and Clemson #3. It doesn't really matter because they would play in the playoff

I don't think many people would have denied before the season even started that Alabama, Clemson, and Ohio State would be 3 of the top 4 teams this year, so insofar as that is so, covid ain't changed a thing.

I find your comments about Florida hard to follow but I would think you know them better than I.

Aggies follow their team anywhere.

Well, that is disappointing. But, thanks for the info.

Cincy was in a real conference before it imploded. Louisville just found the landing pad first and Cincy got left out but they're a bit better than your typical non-p5 schools that make noise around the edges every so often. They're on par with middle of the pack ACC teams.

Speaking with a bowl rep today... There have been promises to keeping it more regional in location, because of Covid and expenses.

FWIW!

SO with that in mind, who would go where. TAMU to Cotton? vs who? Is OK out of it in your projection? OK state? aww

The excitement of playing Iowa fricking State.

Yeah, I'd be calling for a different opponent too if I saw my team playing against some no-name school.

no way Aggies play in Miami while Gators play in Dallas. That is going to get swapped.

I also figure OU will beat Iowa State in the rematch so it will be Aggie vs OU

A&M vs OU once again. Wouldn't be much of a surprise, but I don't think the attendance at the Cotton Bowl would be all that great for such a matchup

Not from A&M's side at least

Lots of Ags and Sooners already living in big D. Would be a great game.

Normally, I'd be all for playing someone new but the Trask vs King storyline for Florida-Miami would be interesting. Also, Florida is getting really close to making the series even and this seems like a good year to rack up another W.

What it matter? Attendance is going to be limited anywhere the bowls are played

Honestly, I'd like the bowls might flip Florida and A&m.

I like the idea of King vs. Trask in a bowl match up due to their high school ties together. It won't happen because Clemson and Notre Dame play conference championship and one will lose and drop

I think Ags matchup very well with Miami or Iowa St. Gators match up great with both also.

With covid restrictions it wouldn't matter what the demand is. Only a limited number is getting in anyway.

unfortunately, if the orange bowl selects first, they will not take TA&M over UF. Same with the Cotton Bowl and A&M.
Fans will not travel this year so the bowls will take a closer option.
