Tua was the QB for the worst loss Bama's had under Saban. HE had the chance to lead arguably the best season in Bama history. Both are true, even if they are seeming contradictions.

I think he played a soft OU defense and it made him overconfident. He threw more TDs than incompletions against OU. It was an arse beating.

Y’all have to pick your favorite reason why that was a fluke and ride it.

Alabama coasted through the SEC even easier than Clemson ran through the ACC. They were head and shoulders better. It wouldn’t have mattered who they played.

You’re going old school - Clemson hasn’t been tested. They won’t be ready for a physical team like Alabama. That’s a tired line that’s been put to rest.

Whatever you need to rub on that open blister to make it better, I guess.
You sound like a UofSC guy with that wait til next year stuff.

Clemson is Bama 2.0 with ELITE players all over the field. So having that is what it takes. Other teams try to but just cant match the talent of them. Clemson can and has.

If Clemson figured that out then hopefully somebody in the SEC can this year

Nobody figured anything out, Clemson had 3 guys on the DL taken in the first 17 picks of the draft. Not 3 potential first rounders, three guys literally taken in the first 17 picks of the draft 3 months after the game. If anyone else in the SEC has that, then they have a chance.

Alabama stopped running the football.....and why we'll never know.

Tua/coaching staff got away from it when Alabama went down in the 2nd quarter.

What're you, bi-polar?

So does it explain WHY Alabama got away from their running game in the 2nd quarter?...No. That's the question many Bama folks were asking.

Yeah 4 returning first round DL is anyone’s kryptonite. Clemson was vastly superior in the trenches.
