Saban had not yet been to the pros. Every year at recruting time other teams used that against us. Bama has never had that used against them. Huge advantage. No one has ever believed he would leave for another school esp after he got things going.

I stayed in West, North, and East stadium dorms. Each for a year. Never uncomfortable in any. These years were the first three of ten years of education
in order to get a professional medical degree. Probably the best three years of my life.

Any other proud program like ours that has struggled as ours has would be excited and
yes confident with such a turnaround. Now can
we sustain it? Who knows. We can now feel that
the worst is over and the sky is the limit next year and the next.

2 yrs ago. We all know what kind of season
you had. Remember, just like you, things can and will turn around quickly. Enjoy for now a great

Bama folks, you take out 5 starters for the year, 2 more starters in and out, 3 back ups that play, out for year, then tell me you would be as strong as you are now. Don't give me that crap about "injuries are part of the game". We are not as strong as we were in August. It will be a good game anyway. Reality is not an excuse.You will never hear Miles talk about the cards he has been
delt. Ever!!!!!
