Indiana’s alumni base is larger, wealthier, and more influential. They are in a wealthier conference and they have a billionaire backing them.

Every one of these points is also true when comparing IU to UGA, big guy.

It’s also more desirable than Georgia

Some UGA fans are still delusional and think the days of CMR are far behind them. They need to understand history is repeating itself for UGA and hopefully it will not be several decades before they win another title.

Yet Alabama didn’t get any further in the playoff than UGA. And UGA won a championship this year and Alabama didn’t.

Their alumni base is larger than anyone’s

I mean, you can make these same comparisons versus UGA

Plus Cignetti would kick Kirby’s arse.

Cuban is basically pulling the Rock quote from his WWE days. He wants portal players who sign with IU to “know their roles and shut their mouths!”

Poor puppy after all the buildup UGA was contender you floundered in the end and now grasping for validation. The decline is real, enjoy the run you once had.

Because those schools think it is beneath them to invest heavily in football

Stanford? No school has more NCAA D1 championships

How bout USC? Also have a boatload of billionaires and pretty sure their alumni base don't think it's "beneath them" to invest in FB

I don't disagree but by default that makes it better than Georgia's.

Georgia < Ole Miss < Miami < Indiana
