As a UT fan, I don’t know any UT fans that hate Vandy. We pretty much just ignore them even during this awful 15 year football period.
We just don’t see them as relevant athletically. Academically, we actually admire them and send friends and family to their great hospital.
The sports teams we hate are: Bama, Florida and UGA (all of which are miles ahead of us football roster wise right now and Vol fans are very aware of that).

The iron bowl is was and always will be the answer. No other rivalry in America comes close...but...Texas and a&m now has the 2nd spot followed by the egg bowl.

Imagine if Auburn left the SEC because they hated Alabama so much and then Alabama followed them to the new conference and forced them to play them.
That's how awesome this game will be for quite a while until things calm down.
