Nah. Been a lot of talking shite about Cal around here when even Tim Quarterman was getting paid at LSU.

Tim Quarterman.

Yes the NCAA is going to bring the hammer down on everyone in their cash cow organization

Too widespread.

Nah, there's going to be some team's getting hammered for this. Regardless of what any school whose been outed has to say right now.

Even Vandy had players implicated and you think anyone in the P5 is gonna not get named as this stuff rolls out?

Looks like Auburn is just going to be implicated in the Chuck Person approaches a FBI informant scandal, not shoe deals/NBA agent dealings

FBI isn't digging into UA + UA doesn't have the money to pay for a bag let alone cash to put in it. Auburn doesn't have obvious NBA talent worth NBA agents time, nor the connections on campus to get access to them

If a school never lied to the NCAA + self imposed vacated wins, scholarship restriction and probation, I imagine the NCAA will accept it.

The NCAA will view the Duke/UNC/MichSt of the world vacating national championships/conference championships as punishment enough.

So, the “bad loan” description for Bam is he did not go to NC State...it looks like the agency was steering Bam as a package deal with another player when he was at high school to commit to NC State.

The loan for Nerlin Noel was given to him after he signed with the agency when he declared for the NBA.

Knox is guilty for a dinner at Texas Roadhouse. TEXAS frickING ROADHOUSE. Damn those peanuts!
If anything, we vacate last years Elite 8...Knox repays the meal and sits out one game. All will be well. I thought it would be a lot worse.

No. It was a bad loan because he didn't sign with the agency.

Yep. He did not sign...also, during the recruitment...he separated from one of his handlers (who was steering Bam to NC State).

I doubt Kentucky gets hammered...if anything, we vacate last season.

Nope, just the record books. Which means your precious final four appearance might as well have never happened.

Dunno how we'd be skating. It wasn't a Kentucky coach, fan or booster that allegedly paid the players. Worst case 3 guys end up being ruled ineligible and none of them did anything noteworthy anyway.

We're listed, right? For Wade?

Ah, I can't even muster up enough energy to care. CBB has been utterly corrupt for so long across so many different schools that I treat stories about NCAA violations with the same urgency as I treat stories about a single loss on the road in conference play.

Ironically, if the fbi had waited one more year we’d of been a final four team this season facing much more serious issues.

God must be an Auburn fan to...the sun is orange and the sky is blue.

Poor Auburn never gonna see their team in a final four, I can understand the salt.

Well that's simply nothing you can say with any confidence. At the beginning of the season, AU fans would have been laughed off the forum if they said they were going to win the SEC, in what appears to be an "up" year.
