Here is a better question....
Tennessee beat LSU up and down the field, and LSU has grown tremendously since. No doubt there were lessons learned in that game.

Would LSU have grown the same and risen to the same spot without taking that buttwhooping?

But, I do think if we played again, it would look entirely different.

I’m hoping the buttwhooping we took motivates the team in the same fashion.

We will see y’all in January on neutral field and you won’t have home field advantage. Hooker missed 2 wide open WR in the end zone. He connects them it’s an entirely different ball game. 4 plays swung that game. UGA is best team in country. We beat Bama in regulation, LSU needed OT. We will be fine.

There’s no need to fight that fight brother. Georgia is better than us and they flat out whipped us. Just like I don’t think we would beat LSU 40-13 if we played again, I doubt Georgia would shut down our offense again. BUT they did it, so hopefully we get another chance and we will see. Until then let’s just worry about ourselves and hope for things to break our way to make the playoffs.

bullshite. Anytime we say we had a bad game you all point and laugh. Go frick yourself rant.

You are crucifying us for losing to Georgia by two scores when you guys lost to us by 27 fricking points. Hypocrites.

LSU was probably within 7-10 of Tennessee back when they played. That 27 point differential is extremely misleading.

If they played today on a neutral field, LSU would win by 7-10 points.

btw, 11 AM games in Tiger Stadium should NEVER be played. The whole place was listless. LSU started out flat as hell.

Bragging?

You better pray we don't get a rematch. You didn't beat us nearly as bad as you think. We were literally only THREE bad Hooker passes away which he normally nails from beating you. If we bring our A game we easily win.

That’s your fan base and your coach’s fault.

Mizzou gave us a better game. I wouldn’t be afraid of them, so why be afraid of the vols?

Tennessee was better at the time of them playing, but LSU is playing better now.

Such was the case for Auburn and LSU in 2013. LSU got Auburn early, and Auburn went on a tear right after the game. Auburn ended as the better team in 2013.

LSU has a chance to end as the better team in 2022, but Tennessee won’t go away quietly after this loss.
