I don't agree with you often, but I have to agree on this one. Totally embarrassing to open on a Thursday against a powder puff opponent.

Imagine only having a total of 3 ... yes that's right, three 10 win seasons in the past 20 years.

Maybe you guys should take a note out of our playbook and you might actually be relevant again...

I never minded opening up the season on a Thursday if it was against a good opponent.

Imagine getting SEC football 3 days early and being mad about it.

Saturday is a great slate of games. I'm glad that I can watch my team beat a cupcake tonight and have Saturday free to enjoy all the other games. Tennessee fans are going to miss Ohio St - Texas because they're watching two mediocre orange schools play a struggle game

I know schedules now are only about maxing out TV $ for ESPN, but I hate they’re pitting SEC football up against Friday night lights. Some things are sacred in the South.

What's the deal with the Big 12 playing a bunch of off-night games that are streaming only? Ok State, UCF, Houston, and Kansas are all playing Thursday/Friday on ESPN+. If you're playing a cupcake team why not just play on Saturday if you're not at least on a conventional cable network? Does ESPN have that much leverage on them?

Yea I loved when OSU played Minnesota on Thursday then I got to enjoy the whole weekend of other big games. It also gives your team a couple extra days to prepare for the next game.

It's 7+ months from the last game to the first game so I don't mind playing it a bit early

Imagine your favorite team coming out shirtless in 30 degree weather to prove how tough they were to just get embarrassed for 60 straight minutes.
