Bama is a blue blood..doubt it..like Michigan and Ohio State they have the desire from the fanbase and tons of money, they will be fine.

Once again, I have to ask: what’s wrong with supporting every team fielded by the university you root for? I honestly don’t understand the logic or mindset behind many of the comments I see.

Alabama has recognized national titles from the following coaches:
Paul "Bear" Bryant
Nick Saban
Gene Stallings
Wallace Wade
Frank Thomas
Recognized?
Considering Alabama's illustrious success, you should be embarrassed claiming a title not even recognized by NCAA and retroactive awards from 100 years ago.
NCAA
Bottom line, LSU replaced its football coach because expectations were not being met.
Also true, the coach LSU fired averaged 4 losses per season, the same as the current Alabama coach.
Moreover, national championships won the last seven years-
LSU: Football (1), WBB (1), Baseball (2)
Alabama: Football (1)

From the link YOU provided:
quote:
1930 Alabama, Notre Dame CFRA, HAF, NCF
1929 Notre Dame CFRA, HAF, NCF
1928 Georgia Tech. CFRA, HAF, NCF
1927 Illinois, Yale HAF, NCF, CFRA
1926 Alabama, Stanford CFRA, HAF, NCF, HAF
1925 Alabama CFRA, HAF, NCF
I'll concede Mr. Thomas - he had two undefeated seasons, but neither were recognized by the NCAA (1934, 10-0, beat #2 USC 29-13 in the Rose Bowl; 1945 (behind Army and Navy at the end of WWII, what're you gonna do?)

7 years is an interesting time frame. Why not 6?
Congrats on that WBB national title though. I'm sure it'll be a Daily Double on Jeopardy! in a few years.

n the past six seasons, LSU has finished unranked 4 times and had zero top 10 finishes, SEC titles, or playoff appearances. The program has run itself straight into the ground
We all know that’s about to change.
