I am a fan of the purple jersey as well. I think its the yellow pants that make the purple jersey not look as good. White pants with the stripes down the side with the purple jersey would look a lot better.
That being said, I do like our white jersey with yellow pants as our traditional home uniforms.
The "special" uniforms should be saved for homecoming and cupcake games.

if this is a serious question, yes Acadians migrated from Canada (then a French territory) into Louisiana in the mid 1700s. You've heard of cajuns right? That's an anglicized word for Acadian

I bet they do have a lot of feelings towards other schools choice of colors, that's a very gay thing to be concerned about - particularly when A&M hasn't won a national championship in football since 1939

Anyone can, but it's simple enough:
Most other teams prefer colored jerseys anyway. Other than someone being a dick about it, it would really only come into effect with someone like Ga Tech, maybe UCLA.
So honestly, it's a win-win. When LSU plays anyone home or away, both teams can wear their traditional uniforms, and the games look great.
