Is it time to worry now? I started the thread because I had a bad feeling after reading about Mizzous 15 game win streak at home...its tough on the road in college hoops. There arent dominant teams out there imho. The Gators just could not or would not go inside tonight and credit Mizzous defense for not letting them.
This is still what makes college hoops fun to watch....a very good game with emotions running high. The Gators could not miss early on from 3 pointland and then couldnt buy one...thats the problem with 3 point shots and it feeds the other team some fast break runouts.

Dykes was right about us not going to the basket against pressure defense. We lost this game on offense, but mizzou was playing tough d, so hats off to them.

Thank God championships aren't won in February... Hopefully we can put this behind us and pound Arkansas on Saturday at the O'Dome

GG Gators.
Best D we've played all year.

How am I supposed to be excited about this UF team when for the past 3 years, they've consistently choked big leads away.

winning at home v. Arkansas will not be considered an accomplishment, however I know yall are looking for a revenge.

Great game Gators!!! IMO y'all had the better team on the court. Just tough on the road. I think you guys will make a deep, deep run in the tourney. No real home court advantages there and I think you can take anyone on a neutral court. Good luck to you guys the rest of the way.

If I had to pick a NC winner right now, I would pick the Gators. They play good enough defense to win it all. Couple that with a great coach and senior leadership, I think they are the best suited to win in the tourney.

I honestly can't stand this team.
We are supposed to be a top 5 team. We crush all the shitty SEC teams, but lose every time we are remotely challenged on the road.
Our signature wins are at home against an 8-loss Wisconsin, at home against a 6-loss marquette, and at home against a 7-loss missouri. At some point, a good team should win a road challenge.

Slow your roll, playa. That's as good a resume as any team not in the top 3 in the B1G. Back away from the ledge.

You guys really played tough D tonight. Hard for us to run our offense when your guys are moving their feet so well.

Relax man. You guys are good. Trust me. You'll at least get to the elite eight. From there you're only playing good teams so you never know.

At least you have an offense.

Yea, i know we are good, which is why I want us to show up just once on the road against a decent team.
Arizona: pretty good team... choked the lead away.
K-State: pretty good team... never really showed up.
Arkansas: good home team... blown out
Missouri: great home team... choked the lead away..
thats 0-4 in road challenges. Thats why I can't stand this team. We are elite. fricking win once on the road.

Seriously, beating Marquette and Wisconsin looks pretty damn good on a resume. Indiana couldn't beat Wisconsin at home and Michigan lost to them in Madtown. I still think Indiana's going to win the national championship this year but Florida is easily an elite eight team.

We didn't down the stretch. The dribble drive is essential when the D is pressuring the ball and the 3 point line, and all we wanted to do was jack 3s.

No way Mizzou wins this game a few weeks ago. I like the way the team is improving slowly thru the season.

Let's just hope they're peaking at the right time.
