why bother posting Saban quotes about not leaving?
Because it was the first question posed to him at tonight's Hey, Coach show and he answered.

Complete humility.
Saban hates change and has no ego.
He never looks for a challenge.
He'd never leave Tuscaloosa.
Just ask him, he'll tell you.

If he says hes not going, you might as well bet the farm he is.
Welcome to Texas Saban. We will try to teach you the difference in a rectangle and a triangle.

No matter what happens in future.
Saban has done what he was brought here to do.
If he stays or goes, Saban is alright in my book.

I don't think he goes anywhere but that statement tells me nothing. Of course that's what he's going to say. Do we expect him to come out and say "you know, I'm actually considering it"

Wouldnt be the first time he lied. I don't really care though. He has made this conference better.

Asked about the report by Cecil Hurt of the Tuscaloosa News, Saban said he was unaware of any contact.
"Nothing went on that I know of. I don't know about any of this stuff," Saban said. "I haven't talked to anybody about that particular situation. They have a coach there."
He continued as the cheers from the Buffalo Wild Wings audience started.
"Every year it's something. Last year it was the Cleveland Browns," Saban said. "The year before that it was somebody else, the NFL. Terry and I are very happy here in Tuscaloosa. We're really love the University of Alabama. We really feel like a part of the community here and we have a lot of good friends here."
Then he topped it off to a large round of applause.
"And, quite frankly," Saban said, "I'm just too damn old to start over somewhere else."
In.

How bad do you want him to leave?

I was hoping coaching distractions would get us one of the biggest wins ever when your boys come to Commonwealth in a couple weeks.
My dreams, Saban processes them.

I'll be honest. I want as far away from the SEC as he can get.
Women's soccer in Ghana sounds fine to me.

Am I? Or am I aware that the hope fans for Saban to be gone is much higher than my fear that he won't be here anymore greater, and one thread set up the fall for the other?
