i'm surprised SC doesn't think the penalty on the nussmeier hit wasn't a penalty

i see this called all the time. it was a vicious hit to the head and shoulders as well and nuss wasn't looking.
i can't see how any fan who saw this block against their team wouldn't be furious if it wasn't called.
I am still not sure about the phantom pass interference call. i didn't see it. and i couldn't see what they were talking about on instant replay. still, SC got their share of non-calls on some of their big plays.
Refereeing is screwy these days and you see it every game. what's frustrating is at the end of a game when your player does something really stupid like the nussmeier hit and you have to swallow it,

I agree. That wasn't where the refs blew it. The offensive PI called is one of the weakest calls I have ever seen though. It just wasn't there. Kinnard had a great game but made two major errors late in the game that cost his team. The refs were pretty miserable too.

Nuss throws interception and is running towards the play. Gets shoved and sells the hit like he was blindsided. Since he is a QB it gets the call.

I thought it didn’t need to be called because the defender/blocker actually led with his hands.
It wasn’t a launch.
I really don’t even know the rule but it was a hard hit with his hands.

It’s an immature play by a young player. You’re trying to get the guy all game and here’s your chance.
It’s the proper call and he needs to learn that his reward is watching his teammate streak up the sideline for a touchdown.

The mysterious pass int calls were absolute horseshite..
The refs getting the numbers magically wrong 4x was sketch..
Lsu won and that's that but let's not pretend sc lost their qb for a half and lsu still needed miracles...

Clearly was not a penalty. There are new photo angles that show nuss the puss running up field to make a play on the DB. He was blocked on the shoulder with two hands, hardly shoved.
