I think Morris recruited better than he coached. Pittman’s best season came with Morris recruits. Arkansas’ tradition is mostly a myth. Look at the teams they played in the old sw conference. Weak and played weak OOC. And then they would lose every year to Texas and the bowl game.

I spent an embarrassing amount of time on woopig (beginning in the HDN years) and I saw what Morris did to that program in real time.

I don't like Arkansas as much as the next guy but it was fricking criminal how bad that piece of shite was.
I don't know how Arky ever recovered from his reign.

Arky hired a .500 g5 coach for a challenging sec job, you guys are 100 percent at fault. Like a .500 win percent g5 coach would turn down sec head coach money. He was probably like well I guess this is it for my coaching career but what a way to go.
