As far as something I caught/killed, cleaned, and cooked goes, the best was fresh blackened redfish and trout almadine

I am in the process of teaching myself how to cook French dishes.

Have recently had a great success with both coq au vin and beef bourgiugnon

I'll never understand this. I have nothing against the female posters in this thread and they actually contribute to the thread. But I'm not posting on here to try to hook up. Are there guys that this site really is the only interaction they have with women?

It is. The difficult part is bringing yourself to pour an entire bottle of red wine into a dutch oven or casserole without drinking any of it.

Speaking for myself, for me it's just cool to get a female's perspective on things, especially in a unique medium of a sports message board. Enriches the conversation in my opinion--I already know how most guys think

But I dunno, that's just me.
