What about baking goods? Like certain extracts have alcohol in them..

I would do it if it was just strictly liquor a la beer/wine/hard alcohol.

I said yes originally, but the more I think about it (and drink) the more I'm leaning towards no. I can't imagine my life right now if I were to go completely sober.

ETA: It would never work anyway. I'd make it until the weekend and then say frick everything and want to drink beer with my friends.

I can smoke a lot of pot (sorry Rebel) to make up for it for $5 million.

I could do it as long as I only had to abstain from drinking the alcohol and the 5 million was cash money that the government didn't know about.

I'm sure 5 million cool ones could get you a suitable frosty cold non-alcoholic beverage and allow you to hang with your friends to boot

Maybe.

I really wouldn't have second thoughts at turning the money down

And FWIW, giving up red meat and coffee has been harder for me then giving up alcohol at this point.

And I would just end up being a cynical a-hole watching everyone else be dumb and drunk. I'm torn. Not to mention when I'm told not to do something I want to do it twice as much as I did originally.
