I interupt thus thread with some facts.
From Channel 38 Columbus
The call came in around six this evening. According to officials the fire started in the building's attic area and the sprinkler system came on. The fire has been extinguished and crews are cleaning up the building
Hargis Hall is located right next door to Auburn's historic Samford Hall and houses the University's graduate program.
According to Auburn's website this isn't the first time Hargis Hall has dealt with a fire. In 1979 the building was totally gutted by a fire and had to be restored using old photos of the structure. The building is named after Estes Hargis and is older than Samford Hall by a few months.
Nobody has been injured as a result of the fire and the cause of the blaze is still under investigation.

Yeah, since both are comparable

Let`s see. We have a poster making light hearted comments about a fire to a non residential building on the Auburn campus vs a tornado that killed 51 people in Tuscaloosa and caused over a BILLION dollars in damage in Tuscaloosa alone. Not to mention the fact that roughly 3,000 homes were destroyed as well as many businesses in Tuscaloosa. I guess we can mark this down as another Auburn "tragedy" to go along with the poisoned Toomer`s oaks "tragedy".

that's one damn dangerous campus. i remember a fire next to the stadium one year when LSU was in town, er village.

He went there unfortunately. BTW, I get that Auburn fans are rightfully upset about Updyke`s actions in poisoning the trees. However, it`s way past time that some Auburn fans stop trying to compare the "tragedy" of the Toomer`s oaks to what happened in Tuscaloosa last April 27th.
