I think they sleep in dens during the day and hunt at night

They are crepuscular (most active during dawn and dusk) but yes, most of the animals listed are diurnal and would be easier to see during the day vs a crepuscular or nocturnal animal.

Tech's big / main money bag loudly proclaimed, after buying the top DL in the country that year ( a cool $5M), that he would never get out bid & "warned the college football world that he was coming for everyone's top recruits.+ This was 3-4 yrs ago

If, that's the case we should offer 21 million over 3 years. Make them pay top dollar for every single recruit.

Tech has 2 Young billionaire ex Tech football players that want to win. Type in Double Eagle. If they want him even we can't compete with Tech. Nor Texas or A&M. Those guys are loaded and want Tech at the top.

You act like they are fixing to give the kid a billion dollars. Anything they can do we can match. It's just whether or not we feel it's worth it.

Sergio De Larrea drafted 25th overall by Lakers.

Graves went 19th overall

Looks like both got good advice to stay in the draft. Also that is pretty close to were both were being projected.

Jalen Reed, come on home.

More like Welcome to Louisiana, Mr. Cadeau.
quote:

There's not a single person that doesn't look like him in Louisiana is going to think he is their equal either. You are talking like it's not fake love amongst LSU fans.

I swear. All of these racist people projecting their hatred for people on to everyone else is ridiculous. Just because all you think about is skin color doesn't mean everyone is like you.
quote:

Hate to say it but these wealthy white people aren’t gonna want anything to do with him once he is done unless he’s like an all timer even then. With NIL, that money and time is needed for the next signing class, if you out of eligibility, then they out of interest.

Man, white people are so evil, right.

In 2018, this WR, who was verbally committed to Kansas, flipped to LSU. I'm kind of glad he did.

It's hard to remember but I'm guessing Tony Hull had a lot to do with Chase looking at Kansas. Makes you wonder what would have happened had Pooka came here. But I'm glad Chase flipped to the good guys.

Saw one report, not sure if real, that the paint/liner that has been “floating” around was cut out. Be interesting if that pans out.

Link?

Still not sure why they didn’t just shock the hell out of it as a stop gap when it first started turning green.

That has never been on the table from what I have heard. That is one very large body of water and not really an option. The expert that CNN had on the other day said the nano bubbler will be fine. The main problem was they got a lot of rain right after they changed the water out.
quote:

Have all these guys committed? Why haven’t the ones who committed (other than Luis and Madar and the new kid) signed yet?

All have committed but Madar I believe is or has signed an agreement to stay in Israel.

The transfers have all signed because they don’t really have to get approval for eligibility since they were already eligible last season.

All of the overseas guys have to apply for eligibility with the NCAA. So they aren’t officially signed until their eligibility is approved. Same for Luis except his eligibility is in question because he signed a two way contract with the G-League and will likely have to sue the NCAA for a chance at eligibility.

So where does that leave the roster? I'm really confused by where we actually are.

I can separate being critical of the operation, which I was, with what is the best path going forward at this time. Opening up Iran's country to Arabian and U.S. investment is as good a route as I have heard, but that doesn't mean its the best - are you aware of something better?

Obviously we could just go wipe out 20 million people to get them to bend to our absolute will. I'm sure that's what these pansy democrats want.

Madar seemed like he would play point if he came to lsu. To me they need another ball handler asap.

For most of his career Wade has been able to put highly efficient offenses on the floor without what people would call a "traditional PG". For instance, LSU was in the bottom 1/4th of the nation in assists per made FG in year they were also in the top 10 in offensive efficiency. It may not look "pretty" like Hoosiers or the Princeton offense, which leads to the "streetball" moniker from the uninformed fans, but it has been effective.

Would a PG like Waters was be great? Absolutely! But hasn't been a necessity for Wade to produce good offenses. Wade's great offenses have generally shared two common traits - don't turn the ball over and make a lot of FTs. LSU fans just watched 4 years of what an offense that constantly turns the ball over looks like. That, combined with equally poor defense, is how you win less than 20 SEC games over the course of 4 seasons.

IMO, Wade has earned the benefit of the doubt on the offensive side of the ball. It's the otherside that has generally limited his teams' success. If the tradeoff for not having Madar ultimately equals a better defensive team, I'll take it!

Looks like De Larrea is staying in the draft at this point. Hopefully there are decent guards that will consider coming over.

he also isn't the topic, which is basketball . please don't do this in every thread.

And this is about the 40th time where some dick smacker comes in and attacks him and when he responds you act like he did something. You only come in to bitch at people. :violin:

Still waiting for someone to argue this SF Giants uniform policy instead of fan fiction.

Because no one cares about a stupid uniform policy. They will pay the fine for having bible verses on their hats and the fairy organization can frick off. There is no discussion to be had.
quote:

The players were not forced to do anything. One player elected to wear the standard SF ballcap. Wasn’t penalized. It’s non news.
That part is lost on you baws… so eager to be a victim.

Some of the players on the team wanted to make a social message out of the opportunity and knowingly violated already existing Giants uniform policy by writing on their ballcaps.

They violated a trash policy. No one gives a damn any more.
quote:

I just assumed it was referencing better defensive players versus better offensive players

A little bit. There is definitely some versatility to the roster but there does seem to be heavy offensive and heavy defensive players.
quote:

But again, if he's betting $20k on Ewers under in yards because he knows he's playing the entire 2nd half instead of Ewers then he should be blackballed from the sport right?

Is this supposed to be a retarded version of a gotcha? You are really under the impression that LSU fans want to protect Arch from scrutiny if he gambled on his own team? I knew Buckeyes were brain dead for the most part, but you might have actually ate paint chips or huffed JP-8 as a child.

Are there supposed to be additional signees?
