Probably needs to rehab his arm after wearing it out throwing so many deep passes to LSU defensive backs.

What is the benefit of playing him then?

What is the benefit of paying him now?

If he had a good coach he would be fine, if he was at UGA, LSU, Ohio State, etc he would be fine...he has has a very bad offensive coach. Every QB in CFB would look terrible under Napier.

You’d think that other kids might learn from the Nico stupidity and realize how good they have it and just work harder

If that’s true what a fricking pussy. Napier should tell him to clear out his locker now

I mean, it is kinda crappy to his teammates, but he also has to take care of himself.

Napier is a dead man walking and Florida has a pretty bad recent track record with head coaches. If he stops playing now he'll have 3 years somewhere else.

I'd be pissed if I was a Florida fan, yeah.

DJ redshirts, transfers to A&M.

To join Oneil and Reed in the QB room? Nah, if DJ wants to play he is headed out of the SEC.

If this is true I hope Florida gives him the boot then. It’s time the universities follow Tennessee example and quit allowing children to leverage and manipulate the system. It’s time for adults to be adults. Men to be men.

There were rumors on Gators 247 that DJ's contract prohibited him from being benched for any reason other than injury.

I don't believe any coach or school would agree to that provision for any player.

I'd take him at LSU. He has talent, he just needs to be coached.

The injury + extremely cautious pocket presence feels a lot like he's just saving himself for a big Anthony Richardson draft workout.

I'd rather we move on and if I were another team I'd wonder how hard he'll play

Well it's not an enforceable contract in any way, so I would take a truckload of salt grains with that.

I would not have believed a HC wouldn’t get an OC after going 19-19 for 3 seasons
I would not have believed a school to not fire a coach who went 20-21 3 games into year 4
Yet both are tru

Big ole lies but I wouldn't mind it.

Tramel Jones looked better IMO and he's a dawg type player.

Lagway just jogs off the field looking into nowhere after INTs, turnover on downs, etc .

Fk that.

Matt Corrall did that. He turned out to be a pretty damn good college QB.

Dude is not that good. 2024 and 2025 stats show 17 TD and 15 pics. DJ so freaking overrated. What’s the hype about? An athlete trying to be a QB.

Dude wants to hit the portal a week after throwing 5 picks? This redefines "shite for brains."
