I worry more because of the mojo factor. And more importantly, I dread the day we turn on ourselves. I remember the mid to late 90's and people booing the offense.
The day is coming and more than likely it will surround the QB position. We already have one guy on here with little to no football knowledge touting the backup QB, a la Brian Burgdorf.
On any given Saturday in Bryant-Denny there are about 30,000 offensive coordinators. I'm not saying they don't have that right, I guess I'm just trying to head it off at the pass.

If LSU can't win the west... I'd love to see an Iron Bowl with two 11-0 teams. Tickets would be 500/600 each.

I must admit I had to double check on dictionary.com. It didn't look right on the computer screen.

I agree...we aren't invinceable. We have mostly new guys in the secondary..but i think they are doing much better Wegot the Talent to beat anybody no doubt...they just have to execute better...even our pkayers admit this in interviews.

Right now BAMA's better than everyone else.
Does BAMA have the ability to improve and keep that advantage as other teams improve?
That's the question.

Mark Barron made me feel better the other night discussing how they haven't played the perfect game.
They can recite the company line, I just hope they keep living it.

I had this exact same memory after the Arkansas game. There were LOTS of Bama fans wanting to throw McElwain under the bus, and Gmac too, because of a couple of pass plays. I immediately thought of the bitching and moaning about the offense when Stallings was here. Look where we went from there people...the exciting days of Dubose.

Only fans of undefeated teams are allowed to post in this thread.
So GTFO.

Charlie Stubbs and Neil Calloway were exciting. You never knew what offense we were gonna be in that week.
Some damn kid the other night was bragging about how he had never lost a game at Bryant-Denny. I almost choked him.
My first year in Tuscaloosa we lost to La. Tech and beat Florida twice. How does that happen?

old saying that prettty much is always true...
things are never as bad as they seem, and things are never as good as they seem.

I'll say it again. There's no way we are getting to the SECCG undefeated.
And for that matter, I believe we are in trouble this weekend and honestly don't think USCe is that good.
I thank the Lord that you are not a Coach nor a football player for Alabama. Some of you ppl amaze me. How is it that some fans can be so fricking negative about one bad arse football team?
Honestly, would you be happier if we were losing and we sucked? Do you remember the Shula years? WELL, THIS AIN'T THE SHULA YEARS.

Yeah you are right...i saw that Mark Barron Interview on TideSports. Saban is pumping them everyday play 60 minutes of Football. I like our Kids in interviews you can tell they got their heads screwed on right....I beleive this team can go all the way...IF IF they stay focused and stop screwing up at times.

I'm not. If I was I wouldn't be on here talking about losing a game. I'm a fan. This is a fan website.
There's a difference in being negative and having a realistic opinion on our football team.
If it makes you feel better I believe Ingram and Richardson are the two best RBs we've ever had at Alabama. Better than Musso. Better than Hump. And better than Su. Alexander.

You don't have to expect a loss to be realistic. Alabama is a damn good football team when they play to their potential. They can be beat, that doesn't mean they will be beat.

But we aren't as good as half the national pundits and our fanbase thinks we are.
No college football team is perfect, and Bama has flaws that can be exploited. But Bama is so talented and deep that it would take a nearly perfect effort by your opponents or a very bad game from Bama to make that happen.
Arkansas nearly did it, but couldn't finish it. ESPN will hype So. Carolina as having a great shot to do upset you, but Arkansas is a better football team than the Gamecocks, IMHO.

I
Bama looks pretty solid to me. Good athletes and good coaching = good team. Good athletes and great coaching = very good team. Great athletes and great coaching = great team. Bama is somewhere between 2 and 3, IMO.
But, Bama is not unbeatable.

It's not that Alabama is worse than people think, but that Florida is better than the score indicated.
Alabama should be undefeated in December.
Florida, on the other hand, should have scored 20 points last week in the loss.
They had an unforced error on the bad hand off inside the Alabama 5. They threw an INT for a TD, where Brantley had no pressure and just missed his guy by 3 yards on a short dump off.
Alabama will be fine.
