Figure we should be nice and put a thread up for all the LSU fans who think it will be a close game, and that LSU has a chance of losing. I realize some of you watched football before this year, and know that UF is a very worrisome opponent.

So Sunday, if you post in and Florida wins, you are saved from the trolling that will ensue on the Tiger fans who have acted a fool.

Good luck.

any team that plays a game, no matter how minuscule it might be, has a chance of losing.

that being said, LSU by 20+

also, do we get to call out all the florida fans that think it’s impossible LSU wins big?

Of course it could likely be a close game. Of course Florida could win it. These are two good SEC teams, and both should get some answers to questions they’ve had (if they’re being honest) about their team.

Me. I think there’s an 80% chance LSU wins, but that leaves 1 of 5. LSU has the better roster, home field advantage, and a gigantic advantage at QB. Florida has a great pass rush and good defensive backs. That’s about it, but that’s a lot.

If Florida wins it will be because their pass rush forced turnovers and ended drives. Florida’s offense is competent enough to get some scores if they’re gifted field position.

Florida will score in garbage time to make it seam more respectable. Our seniors and third string will likely give up some points. With LSU up by 28 with 6 minutes left, we can afford to give up a score or two so that our seniors can get some playing time on homecoming.

Damn auto correct

If they FORCE turnovers, how would that be GIFTED field position?

I think it will be a close game. The LSU-UF game is annually a war between two talented teams, both with rosters littered with future NFLers. This game will be no different. UF is a well coached team, and their defense will be the best we have faced this year so far, and it will not be easy to score on them. Although I strongly believe LSU will win, I don’t believe it will be a “blowout”, like many are predicting.

Everything about this game is going to be awesome. Build up, pregame, atmosphere, stadium environment, weather, game, all of it.

I do think LSU wins by 10 or so, but I think it's closer than that score would indicate, similar to last year.

Here is what worries me about the game and the only worry, every pundit out there is picking LSU to win and it isn’t like we are playing the little sisters of the blind here.

Florida is ranked 7th for a reason because this isn’t pre-season, we are 6 weeks into the season and y’all have earned that ranking so far.

But Vegas has you guys as 13 point dogs in this game and so far LSU is 4-1 vs the spread this year and I think we missed the one spread by 2pts. So Vegas must feel pretty confident about this game

I think LSU wins, but that 13 point spread is really high. LSU will win by 10 or less in a really tough game.

THIS year, I think it's a bad matchup for Florida. LSU will dictate the pace of the game on offense. I think LSU defense is good enough to force the Gators to punt more than enough to allow Stingley to break one.

LSU-36
Fla-23
