If you’re curious why LSU won’t be kicked out the SEC

Just look at this board, social media, or any ESPN show. LSU good or bad is the talk of college football right now. The entire state of college athletics is being driven by eyeballs, and LSU brings them.
The SEC can’t / won’t lose that.

I can see it now.
The SEC ADs all meet up to discuss the future.
What should we do with our membership opens Sankey?
Ole Miss AD: Let's kick LSU out!
Sankey: But have you seen the secrant forums?

No, that has nothing to do with why. The reason is because, and all of you bear with me here…
LSU didn’t break a single rule, law, or field a single ineligible player at any point.

Someone was on here saying that LSU isn't a national brand.

It’s too early to say whether a SEC rule was broken without the rosters being finalized until Friday.

Correct we are a world brand.

Its one thing to be a national brand with Men's Ice Curling and Women's Badminton. Its another thing for your football team to be an irrelevant pit of bog sludge.

LSU is an upper tier all-time football program and an elite & very valuable brand....and this issue threatens to destroy the viability of college football to such a degree that ADs and other coaches will push their university presidents to expel LSU from the SEC. It most certainly can happen.

The SEC could replace LSU without blinking an eye. Will they? Stay tuned and see what happens.

Tulane will fit in the SEC nicely… LSU to the Little 12

I can understand wanting Tulane so bad because it would mean an easy win for most of the SEC teams.

Money makes the world go around. LSU attracts viewers, especially with Kiffin at the helm. The NCAA, conferences, and most IMPORTANTLY the universities themselves have showed you what they do when given the choice over and over again. Money!!
LSU brings the two most important things to the table for a corporation in today’s capitalist society, money and viewers. LSU isn’t going anywhere!

Money rules everything. LSU brings a lot of revenue to the conference. The SEC isn't letting that go nor will it come to that.

Any team can be kicked out, but will it happen, no. You would be dumb to think otherwise. Texas could be kicked out for fostering a player that was at 2 rookie camps, and was in the nfl draft, but it won't happen, lol. Old piss could be kicked out for defying the NCAA/SEC ruling on Chambliss, but will it happen, no.

LSU will be in Big 12 visiting Lawrence, Kansas and Ames, Iowa during the winter. Time for the gulag with their pro bowl NFL team.
