Does the facebook poll even decide who gets their picture on the cover? You would think EA would have the final say in it regardless of the results.

It does and they don't. Hence the Peyton Hillis debacle two years ago.

Terrible way to decide the cover imo but its gets them a lot of publicity so they keep doing it.

Of course he would start elsewhere but is he really deserving of being on the cover? Probably not if it wasn't a fan vote.

Swope's lack of production against Evans was mostly because Manziel is more comfortable throwing outside as opposed to over the middle. As the season went on, he got better at finding Swope. It doesn't mean that Evans isn't very good, but he had the advantage to being a big target on the outside. Swope is the better receiver in terms of playing the position between the two, but Evans may be better by the time he finishes his last year.

I love Jason Cook our VP of Marketing, doing the Twitter smackdown:

@darrenrovell: Hoping NCAA Football game has Ryan Swope on the cover. Would be a good experiment on if bad cover athlete hurts sales.

.@darrenrovell Maybe we should poll Alabama fans re Swope vs. Robinson for @EANCAAFootball cover.

wtf - why is Swope even an option? Shouldn't it at least be like a top 50 player in college football?

So if we win this...

Exclusive ESPN Gameday commercial
Heisman Trophy
Top-5 finish
NCAA Football game cover
Potential #1 overall pick

Has any team outside of the national campion gotten this much positive exposure in such a short span of time?

Problem was that A&M had to pick someone who was out of eligibility. Moore and Joekel aren't skill position players (which would be preferable) and may not have declared by the deadline for this anyway. Thus it was essentially the best Sr skill position player on each school. It was either Swope or Christine Michael, Swope is the better choice.

I think this calls for a "Nyahh, nyahh, nyahh".

Swope briefly fell behind when this subject first hit this forum, but he's back in front at the moment by ~1600 votes.

Nyahh, nyahh, nyahh.

Michigan with their monster base will be tough to beat, though.

Hey, even if you hate us (I'm sure some have their reasons lol) then vote for Swope.

We don't discriminate!

Appreciate any help from the non Aggie Ranters.

Rumor is if Swope wins, the SEC chant is unlocked for bowl games.

No. It doesn't. I can't think of any other time it has happened.

And if Denard wins it I will not be buying 14.... Not a chance.

Or I might just get a custom cover with Cam on it.

If Swope gets put on the cover of a football game they should just stop with that shite alltogether.
