Before you try it with the 2006 team, remember how badly A&M lost their bowl game that year and tell me if it would have turned out any different.

8 points for Bryant’s team in 1950 vs. Tennessee. Then they’re outright National Champions (and not some retroactive BS).

2 points for this last bowl game against Northwestern. frick those PAC assholes for ejecting Benny Snell.

Not for only 10 points.

That gives you the 2012 SEC title in your first year in the conference. Never know what you could have built off of that. I like it.

Alternate distribution for MSU:

1 point to LSU in 2000
1 point to Arkansas in 2000

This would have given MSU the 2000 West title, and a rematch against a Florida team that they had curb stomped earlier in the year.

1 point to Arkansas in 2010
4 points to Auburn in 2010

Would have given State a 9-2 season, and a shot at the 2010 SEC title - Auburn wouldn't have been undefeated going into the Camback Iron Bowl - if Bama would have won that game, State would have won the West.

I cant really affect anything major with 3 points, so I'd probably make a FG against one of the following teams: Troy, South Alabama, Maine. Or use it to beat LSU in 2015.

Actually that gives us the 2012 NATIONAL title.

The way A&M was playing at the end of the season they might have beaten Notre Dame far worse than Alabama did.

For those that don't know, that means SC would've been a 4X East champ, instead of just one.

Alabama would have finished 6-2 and had the tie-break over MSU. Bama would have gone to Atlanta

We only need one of those wins.

Can we send USC a couple in 05?

Maybe, but A&M hasn't gone unbeaten at home since my senior year.

Yep. So couldn't have changed things major in 2010.

How about I keep the one point to Arkansas - we win a big emotional game and finish in the top 10, then I take those four points and beat Ole Miss in 2017 for a NY6 berth.

I can get behind this.

Just give me 5 vs Clemson in 2016.

Can I give a few to Ole Miss in 2015 against Arkansas? Had that fluke play not happened, Ole Miss wins the West and Bama doesn’t make the playoffs.

Clemson wins 2 NCs in a row in that scenario easy.

5 points so we beat Auburn in 2006. We'd have gone on to win the natty.

5 points so we beat Alabama in 2012. We'd have had a good shot to go on to win the natty.

I'm just thinking more recently. If I was being more efficient, I'd give us 2 points against Tennessee in 1959 so we would have won back-to-back nattys.

That gives very little. A&M wasn't winning the 1956 title even with no losses and was on probation in 1994.

An alternate distribution would be

2006 - 5 vs. Texas Tech
2006 - 2 vs. Oklahoma
2006 - 2 vs. Nebraska

2010 - 4 vs. Oklahoma State
2011 - 2 vs. Oklahoma State
2011 - 3 vs. t.u.

None of those gives nearly the payout that a 14-0 season in 2012 does.

All 10 in regulation of the 2011 GOT. 16-6 would've kept Bama from getting a mulligan.

if it were 12 points instead of 10 we could get 2011 A&M to 11-1 & maybe y'all get voted into the title game. Would have been fun to see LSU play A&M that year.
