They have a really strong petroleum engineering program despite being gay.

Aggy logic.

Reality is that Texas is 62% minority & TAMU has 60% white students.

Remember, it’s justified by making fun of them athletically because they don’t achieve at the highest level. BUT, academically, it’s one of the best educations in the country and there’s no shame in a degree from there.

I can’t figure out why they’re so mediocre in sports.

They have a huge alumni base and hardcore fan support, top notch facilities and all the oil money in the world yet they can’t build an athletic department that competes for championships in numerous sports

They play military. That’s pretty cool.

That's incredibly stupid coming from an LSU fan considering how many alumni/former students from both universities have given everything for this country.

We brought the kids to College Station for the LSU game in November. Even our goofy teenagers thought it was "cool" and respectful that everyone removed their hat entering their Student Union(Memorial Student Center).

If I had the opportunity to do it all over, I’d choose A&M again. No regrets

Say what?

A&M players in the NFL earn more than those at any other Texas school

I’d be embarrassed to be associated with that university.

You should be embarrassed of your shitty threads.

The football team is usually good for one big upset per year.

That's all I've got.

Compared to most universities they're pretty conservative which is refreshing.

Conservative American values are no longer considered something to be proud of, which is very sad. A&M is the most conservative public university in the country and we will be mocked for it.

Most of the people I know who graduated from A&M are good, smart people. They do seem to be a little socially awkward.

A&M is a proud university and rightly so. They have a strong Military presence. They are 1 of only 3 universities to lead U.S. in winning WWII with elite officers. .The other 2 schools are West Point and LSU. They are not racists. They are 50% minorities with Hispanics the most. Their education is excellent and have a very strong allegiance to their school. Their only problem is they think they're better than others and are arrogant about it.
