2 Nattys in 4 seasons as OC, how big will the melt be for UG and UT fans?

Since it's the off season, why not ask?

Dan Mullen's ceiling is 10 wins. He will be the Mark Richt of Florida. Not a bad coach but not great either.

Dawg fans and Vol fans will be praying for the urban days because Mullen is going to unleash hell on them

Anyone that did what he did with state is a great coach.

Zero chance he gets 2 natys in the next four years though.

Has Mullen ever beat a highly ranked team as a HC?

Absolutely. He put state on the map and did very well with limited resources. He's going to do very well at UF.

I see Dan getting you to 9 wins regularly with an occasional 10 win season...nothing to see here.

Maybe if he learns how to recruit and maybe if he learns how to beat ranked opponents on the regular y’all might be able to dream of 9-3 or 10-2 again.

I’m already at half chub just thinking of the slaughter Kirby is bringing to Jacksonville this year.

If expecting Kirby to win against a team that he decimated the year prior who had to hire a new coach is premature expectations, what is it called when you anticipate said first year coach to bring you back to a position of prominence?

So let's get the rant's thinking straight.

10 win ceiling?

He won that at Miss State. The WORST program in SEC history. A program that was winning 2-4 games a year before he got there.

Yet he will only do the exact same at UF? A program capable of winning multiple national titles, and being the second most dominate program in the SEC the last thirty years?

Is the rant really this stupid? Mullen was in the West, a far more loaded division, and could win 8-10 a year.

Yet that's what he will do at UF with FAR superior talent and an easier division?

The logic in this place is...well there is no logic in this place.

Did fine recruiting in a short time span so far. UF's best overall player rating in a number of years. Also left Miss State an outstanding class.

Seems like he knows what he is doing so far.

Nobody loads up on more OOC cupcakes than MSU and he only won 10 games ONCE and that team was boat raced by GT.

How many of those " loaded" SECW teams did he beat?

Dan Mullen averaged 7 wins a year at Mississippi State. I may need to double check this, but I'm pretty sure he only had one year where he had an above .500 record in the conference.

Pretty sure State historically has lost more games than they've won. That's pretty shitty.
